INTERMARINE LAUNCHES
THE 36 M FAST PATROL BOAT OF THE "DI BARTOLO" CLASS
"G9 CINUS" AND THE FIRST 22 M "BURATTI CLASS"
"G200 VICEBRIGADIERE BURATTI" UNDER CONSTRUCTION FOR
THE ITALIAN FINANCE POLICE
The launching ceremony took place in the morning at Intermarine
yard in Sarzana. The vice-secretary of the Minister of Defence,
Lorenzo Forceri, and the Commander in Chief of the italian Finance
Police, Cosimo D'Arrigo, and the President of Immsi, Roberto Colaninno,
attended the ceremony.
Today, at 10 am, in Sarzana
shipyard, took place the launching ceremony of the second 36 meters
patrol boat "G9 Cinus" and the first 22 meters Fast
Patrol Boat "G200 Vicebrigadiere Buratti".
The "G9 Cinus"
is a 36,5 fast patrol boat interely constructed in composit material
with a large use of advanced technology fibres, like carbon fibre.
Particulary adapted also
for patrolling mission in blue water, this vessel can operate
at high speed also in rough sea.
The "G200 Vicebrigadiere
Buratti" is the prototipe of this new Class of 23 vessels
and gives the name at the class too : "Buratti Class".
The 22 m is wholly made
in FRP: hull bottom and sides are in single skin stiffened by
glass fibre; superstructure and deck are in sandwick with skins
in carbon fibres.
The propulsion system consists
of two diesel engines driving two fixed pitch propellers , and
allows achieving a top speed in excess of 30 knots.
