INTERMARINE CONFIRM
THEIR DYNAMISM
Intermarine and Datamat have signed a Memorandum of Understanding
for joint design, development and production of a new "Naval
and Coastal Integrated Surveillance and Control System" (NCISCS).
Intermarine S.p.A., Italian
shipyard specialized in design and construction of naval vessels
in composite material and aluminium for military and paramilitary
use, among which Fast Patrol Vessels for law enforcement Authorities
and for Navies, and Datamat S.p.A., Italian Company specialised
among other - in development and supply of Command and
Control systems, of sophisticated communication systems, of ILS
services and in activities of "System Integration",
have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the joint development
of a new "Naval and Coastal Integrated Surveillance and Control
System" (NCISCS).
The NCISCS will consist of
an integrated complex of naval vessels, ashore installations and
associated services (training, logistic support, operational support)
aimed to surveillance and control of maritime areas (such as activities
related to prevention of pollution, of illegal immigration, of
illegal fishing, etc). Target of the co-operation will be the
development, construction and sale of an integrated and modular
"turn-key" system, tailored on the specific requirements
and needs of each Customer, characterised by cost-effective solutions
for maximum operational effectiveness and optimal life-cycle costs.
