INTERMARINE CONFIRM THEIR DYNAMISM

Intermarine and Datamat have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for joint design, development and production of a new "Naval and Coastal Integrated Surveillance and Control System" (NCISCS).

Intermarine S.p.A., Italian shipyard specialized in design and construction of naval vessels in composite material and aluminium for military and paramilitary use, among which Fast Patrol Vessels for law enforcement Authorities and for Navies, and Datamat S.p.A., Italian Company specialised – among other - in development and supply of Command and Control systems, of sophisticated communication systems, of ILS services and in activities of "System Integration", have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the joint development of a new "Naval and Coastal Integrated Surveillance and Control System" (NCISCS).

The NCISCS will consist of an integrated complex of naval vessels, ashore installations and associated services (training, logistic support, operational support) aimed to surveillance and control of maritime areas (such as activities related to prevention of pollution, of illegal immigration, of illegal fishing, etc). Target of the co-operation will be the development, construction and sale of an integrated and modular "turn-key" system, tailored on the specific requirements and needs of each Customer, characterised by cost-effective solutions for maximum operational effectiveness and optimal life-cycle costs.
